Synonyms: FITC Streptavidin, Streptavidin fluorescein labeled
Product Descriptions:
FITC labeled streptavidin is one of SLT's green fluorescent protein conjugates that used widely to detect biotinylated biomolecules. Streptavidin is a tetravalent protein with molecular weight of 52.8 kDa. Streptavidin has an extraordinarily high binding affinity towards biotin, with a dissociation constant on the order of 10e-14 mol/L. Streptavidin/biotin system thus has been commonly used in bioassay development, biomolecule purification and in-vitro/in-vivo diagnostics.
SLT's FITC labeled streptavidin has strong green fluorescence at 515 nm upon excited at 495 nm. Compared to other streptavidin conjugates, our FITC-streptavidin has brighter fluorescence light, better photo-stability and lower background fluorescence.
